Explore the purest of springs, visit an eco-sanctuary and sample the finest cheese and flavours of the Waikato region.

Our morning begins with a journey to the South Waikato for a gentle walk along the banks of Te Waihou river that leads to the famous Blue Springs. We find a tucked away pocket of nature to enjoy a hot brew with a view. Waikato is a region renown for it's dairy farming and local produce, so it's only natural that we visit a local cheese maker to sample some of the best cheeses in New Zealand. A visit to the largest mainland ecological island in New Zealand is a must when in the Waikato, and we've got a special experience lined up for you. Sanctuary Mountain Maungatautari is home to our rarest birds and the forest is pristine. Our afternoon is rounded off with a visit to the largest organic blueberry orchard in the southern hemisphere.

Visit the micro-distillery located at 92 Alpha Street, Cambridge to sample the array of award-winning spirits and liqueurs. We also offer private tours by appointment which offer the chance meet the distillers for an in-depth guide to the distilling process, cocktail making and complimentary tasting of our range of gins all whilst enjoying a grazing platter of local produce. Enjoy a panoramic view over the beautiful Waikato area from a hot air balloon. We take off from Innes Common, by the lake in Hamilton, New Zealand. Flights are at sunrise when the air is still and quiet. Experience the breathtaking views of the mountain ranges, various lakes and green fields. The flight duration is around an hour. Plenty of time to soak up the surroundings. After the flight, enjoy sipping on a glass of champagne. What a way to start the day.
