Waitangi Day Festival 2026
After the success of our first Waitangi Day Festival in 2025, we are excited to welcome our community back for 2026.
Our annual Waitangi Day Festival brings together whaanau, performers, makers, and creators to celebrate culture, creativity, and the stories of our region.
This year, we’re building on last year’s energy with a programme that celebrates our community. Enjoy an afternoon of live performances from 1pm to 5pm in the Museum forecourt, and explore more activities happening inside the Museum, at Ferrybank, and along the river.
A full schedule will be released later this month. Until then, save the date and subscribe for updates to learn more.
