Good news – the Christmas Parade has found a new home with the Lions Club of Cambridge. Following the closure of the Cambridge isite, an alternative backer was needed to ensure the parade’s future – and the Lions were quick to step forward.
Vicki Ewing remains as Parade Manager and Logan and Nicola MacKenzie’s Cambridge New World remain on board as the main sponsor.
This year’s Parade will have the theme “A Sporty Christmas” – a nod to Cambridge’s proud sporting reputation. The theme is not mandatory, but points are awarded for it.
Camille Guzzwell from The Breeze returns as MC, bringing her trademark warmth and energy to the occasion.
With Cambridge Lions involved and strong community support, this year’s Parade promises to be another special celebration. So, organise your group and join in the fun!
Entry for community groups, pre-schools, and schools is free. There is a $40 business entry fee.
