Heliworx Waikato is a dynamic helicopter company situated near Mt Pirongia in the beautiful green Waikato. We offer scenic flights for all budgets and time-frames over coastal and inland scenery.
Come and fly with us and enjoy the spectacular views of the rugged West Coast over the habours and towns of Kawhia, Aotea and Raglan. We offer helicopter flights that suit your budget and time-frame. We are situated at the foot of beautiful Mt Pirongia, 25 minutes South West of Hamilton, en route to Waitomo Caves, or Raglan by the sea. We can also drop you or two of your friends off, or pick you up from where ever you like. We operate seven days a week during daylight hours.

Carve your own traditional Māori pendant - the hei tiki. This workshop is designed for intermediate-level carvers in mind, but lower level carvers are also welcome. This workshop will take a minimum of 2 consecutive days to complete. In this workshop, we will cover the cultural history of the form, the tools and skills necessary for stone-carving and will guide participants through the process of creating a pounamu hei tiki. By the end of the workshop, participants will have a fully completed and bound hei tiki to take home.

Karamu Trail Track offers safe unique & adventurous horse treks in the varied stunning surrounds of native bush, streams, limestone rocks, and rolling farmland. You'll often see our young horses & foals frolicking as well as cows, peacocks, turkeys, pheasants, rabbits, hares & birds as we ride along. With over 100 different tracks to choose from every trek is different, and allows us to cater for the very beginner to the advanced. Choose from 1, 2, or 4 hour treks, or for a really special treat try our 2hr twilight/glow worm rides. Scheduled treks go out every weekend, public holiday, and school holidays at 10am & 1pm, with 3:30pm available also. Weekdays by demand. Bookings essential. Accommodation is also available.
