Morrinsville’s visually-striking Herd of Cows? street art celebrates the rich dairy farming history of the area and the town’s vibrant art scene.

Visitors to Morrinsville will be warmly greeted by a colourful herd of cows as they make their way into the town centre. The ‘Herd of Cows?’ street art instalment highlights the town’s strong dairying heritage and growing arts culture, with fibreglass cows situated on streets throughout Morrinsville’s main centre, including ‘Mabel the Mega Cow’ at the southern end of town.

The first painted cows appeared in Morrinsville’s streets in 2015 and the herd has grown in number and fame since. Now 60 life-size cow sculptures are located throughout the town with names like Picowsso, Peek-a-Moo, Moo World Stampede, Accowtants, and Udderly HOT adding to the amusement.
