SkyCity Hamilton is situated inside the former Chief Post Office, in a building designed to maximise a superb riverside location on the banks of the Waikato River. With a range of dining and entertainment outlets, including EATBurger - voted the Waikato's best burger and The Local Taphouse - the first Good George bar in the CBD, there is something for everyone at SkyCity Hamilton! Blastacars is not your typical go kart experience. Our karts are Kiwi made and have been developed here for over 25 years. With powerful karts and a custom track surface we are all about drifting sideways. With up to 12 racers on our 220 metre track in our 390cc karts you are in for a adrenaline pumping experience! We have different speeds for different needs. Children need to be 1.2 metres or taller to race. We also have a paraplegic kart. We not only have kart racing, we also have BBQ areas, party areas, vending machines, arcade games and other free games. We are open 10am till 10pm weekends and public holidays and 12pm to 10pm weekdays. We are closed on Mondays. So come to Blastacars and get sideways!

Hamilton’s Classic Car Museum - venue hire - themed diner. A classic car museum with something designed to cater for every member of the family. We have over 100 cars for display and an extensive collection of petrol memorabilia – signs, tins, petrol pumps, pedal cars and early pin ball machines. The Jukebox Diner is situated inside the museum, a themed 1950s diner, the perfect spot to relax and enjoy a meal or a coffee. The Diner also has a fenced off children’s area with rides to help keep your younger family members entertained why you relax and enjoy your experience. We have a conference room available for hire with seating for up to 100 people and for those larger groups full hireage of the venue is available for up to 300 people.

A variety of trikes available for rental, including the VeloPlus wheelchair bike. This is designed for transporting people who can remain seated in their own wheelchair with the wheelchair wheeled on to the platform and fastened securely with restraints without the user transferring from their wheelchair. The tilted ramp enables a safe and smooth transition for the wheelchair onto the bike platform.
