Confinement offers an exciting challenge in the heart of Hamilton. Try escaping one of our themed rooms, explore the city on our scavenger hunts or grab a take home escape game. Confinement gives you both a challenge and adventure.

Offering an exciting team building experience in the heart of Hamilton. Perfect for friends, couples, work groups and families. Try escaping one of our four themed rooms, explore the city on one of our scavenger hunts or grab one of our take home escape games. Confinement provide stimulating games which challenge you to think outside the box - allowing you to escape your everyday life and immerse in an alternative reality. An experience your inner child craves, delivering a heart-racing activity. Are you in? The Escape Rooms accommodate teams of 2 - 8 players per room. The Scavenger hunts are created for teams of 2 - 6 players with a total of 12 teams playing simultaneously across 2 hunts. Large groups are welcome.

Carve Your Own Hei Toki

Carve your own traditional Māori pendant - the hei toki: an adze. This workshop is designed for entry-level carvers with next to no carving experience, and will take up to 4 - 6 hours. In this workshop, we will cover the cultural history of the form, the tools and skills necessary for stone-carving and will guide participants through the process of creating a pounamu hei toki. By the end of the workshop, participants will have a fully completed and bound hei toki to take home.
