Choose your level of adventure - kayak to the Pancake Rocks, hire bikes, climb Mt Karioi, visit Bridal Veil Falls, go fishing, follow an arts trail or simply take a sunset stroll to catch the harbour cruise. After a day out exploring, come back to your ensuite studio, 1 or 2 apartment, relax in the sunny guest courtyard and fire up the BBQ. You’ll enjoy the warmth and ambience of an old coal range, the soft glow of candlelight, a glass of wine in the outdoor bath, under the stars. Or just snuggle into the luxurious, specially shaped bed - with pure cotton linen, comfy pillows and thick, wool duvet. Treat yourself. Peeks of Pirongia is a short 25-minute drive from the heart of Hamilton city. Set in farmland surroundings, with Kahikatea bush and mature shelterbelts nearby, you'll feel immersed in nature. Gentle views across fields reach all the way to the magnificent Mt Pirongia - often silhouetted by a glowing sunset at the end of the day. The interior of the safari tent is serene and stylish, with every detail considered. The space contains a comfortable super-king-size bed and sofa for lounging. A fully equipped kitchenette is positioned to the side of the spacious deck - right outside. The outdoor bathroom is conveniently located just a short 5-metre walk from the tent via a decked walkway. Peace and tranquillity permeate every corner here.

Cook nourishing meals in your fully-equipped separate kitchen, make an easy fry-up on the BBQ, or simply pour a glass of bubbly and soak in the quartz stone bath, perfectly positioned in a private, covered corner of the deck. Details of repurposed century-old rimu throughout the space give the cabin a charming, rustic feel. When it’s time for sleep, curl up into your orthopaedic, super king bed and wrap yourself in Egyptian cotton bedding. The views won’t disappoint; dusk can give Mount Karioi pink, orange and red sunsets and clear nights a stargazing spectacle. Add in the birdsong and cascading views of the flower farm, and you’ll have a pinch-yourself moment as you look out at your snapshot of colour.
