Underhill Valley is a perfect, peaceful, retreat for couples. Built into the hillside, this remarkable cave-style house has been beautifully handcrafted with rustic native timbers and ironwork. Huge timber doors open wide to overlook a picturesque pond and farmland beyond. You’ll enjoy the warmth and ambience of an old coal range, the soft glow of candlelight, a glass of wine in the outdoor bath, under the stars. Or just snuggle into the luxurious, specially shaped bed - with pure cotton linen, comfy pillows and thick, wool duvet. Treat yourself. Immerse yourself in the stillness and peace of Underhill Valley and take some time to fully enjoy life’s simple pleasures.

Self-contained Peake Cottage is set in established grounds, separate from the main house and with its own access and parking. It is quiet and peaceful – the perfect place to relax and a great base for many of the activities in and around the Waikato. The cottage is well-appointed and will comfortably sleep two in the king sized bed. The kitchen comes with microwave, electric hotplate, refrigerator and Nespresso machine – bring your favourite capsules. We do supply some for your stay. There are lots of cafes, restaurants and take-away options available in both Cambridge and Hamilton. Continental breakfast (cereal, fruit, toast), tea, coffee and milk are provided. As is all the linen.

Somersal is an idyllic Bed and Breakfast Accommodation / Wedding Venue perched on the banks of the Waipa River in Pirongia, Waikato - just 30 minutes north from the Waitomo Caves, 20 minutes from Hamilton and only 10 minutes drive from Te Awamutu. Somersal has available four queen bedrooms (sleeps up to 10) with views out onto the garden or towards the mountain. The Master Queen & Deluxe Queen bedrooms have en suites, while the other two Queen bedrooms share a bathroom with separate shower and toilet. Cooked and/or continental breakfast is included.
