Our bespoke studio (built and decorated by Chris and Amanda) is a real little gem. You’ll love enjoying a cuppa in the morning while taking in the view across the gully the gully bank, which we’re restoring with native trees. The bird song makes for a peaceful start to the day. Champion Rest is centrally located, and is a stones throw away from Hamilton Airport, Mystery Creek Event Centre, Lake Karapiro, Hamilton Gardens, Avantidrome and Sanctuary Mountain Maungatautari. We’re just a short bike ride away from Te Awa River Ride path, which leads to all sorts of great places including the award-winning Hamilton Gardens, the town of Cambridge and Hamilton City. We provide breakfast - tea, coffee, herb tea, toast and spreads and muesli.

Set on 5 acres, Hadleigh is accessed down a rural lane, the tranquil setting belies its proximity to Hamilton city’s, renowned gardens and busy night life. The quaint settlement of Cambridge is close by. We were particularly drawn to the areas natural beauty, as was Peter Jackson when he chose to film his magical Hobbits here. However, it was the mighty Waikato river, woodland walks and verdant fields, home to New Zealand’s pre-eminent thoroughbred horse industry that drew us in. Following the devastating 2011 ‘quakes, we missed hosting and felt that this new ‘Hadleigh’ was really quite superb, a place we would be proud to share with our guests.

Podium Lodge has been designed specifically for athletes to support their training or performance ambitions but we welcome anyone looking to stay in a spacious and modern facility with a sporting vibe. This 86 bed accommodation facility is situated on the northern fringe of Cambridge with access to local world class sporting and recreational facilities. 20 minutes from Hamilton Airport, minutes from Cambridge town and a gateway to numerous regional attractions. Arbor Lodge offers well appointed self-contained accommodation. The queen double en-suite studio is equipped with the following: Air conditioning, kitchenette with fridge & microwave, TV & DVD player – (selection of movies available), radio & CD player, Sofa, bistro table for two, complimentary beverages, hairdryer, iron & ironing board, wireless internet access available on site, on-site parking, in-ground swimming pool (summer only) available for guest use, and peaceful and attractive gardens.

Peeks of Pirongia is a short 25-minute drive from the heart of Hamilton city. Set in farmland surroundings, with Kahikatea bush and mature shelterbelts nearby, you'll feel immersed in nature. Gentle views across fields reach all the way to the magnificent Mt Pirongia - often silhouetted by a glowing sunset at the end of the day. The interior of the safari tent is serene and stylish, with every detail considered. The space contains a comfortable super-king-size bed and sofa for lounging. A fully equipped kitchenette is positioned to the side of the spacious deck - right outside. The outdoor bathroom is conveniently located just a short 5-metre walk from the tent via a decked walkway. Peace and tranquillity permeate every corner here.
