Māhoe Cabin is located in the Waikato, 17 minutes from Morrinsville, 1 hour and 35 minutes from Auckland City, or 35 minutes from Hamilton City. The cabin consists of a fully enclosed bedroom with a simple but lovely interior. Nordic spruce lines the walls and beautiful natural linens and fibres adorn the bed. Directly outside the bedroom is an outdoor living and kitchen area. An outdoor fire with a mini bread/pizza oven is the perfect place to sit in the evening and watch the birds flitting through the wetlands. The spacious bathroom is next to the bedroom and accessed via the deck. Māhoe Cabin is the ideal way to escape the hustle and bustle of city life and get a much-needed dose of nature.

The original homestead was known in the area for the beautiful cottage gardens and specimen trees. There are some beautiful examples of a hundred plus year old Kauri, Copper beech and magnificent magnolia trees which the tui love to visit. During its history, there have been many families live in the villa with each generation adding their love and attention to the property. The bedrooms that are lovingly restored are named from the families or significant aspects of its history. There are many Victorian features in the villa including original tiled fireplaces, polished floors, leadlight windows and doors and high ceilings. Fully renovated June 2019.

Hadleigh has featured in the prestigious House & Garden publication. The Kotare Suite on the first floor offers uninterrupted rural and garden views. The suite has 52sqm of personal space, there is a Super King room, ensuite, and an adjacent private lounge. Here guests can relax, and enjoy the complimentary mini bar, home baking, and fruit. The fridge and microwave provide opportunity to prepare light meals if desired. Breakfast is a sumptuous affair with home grown and local produce. Guests are welcome throughout the Lodge and grounds. Complimentary evening drinks and canapes is a social occasion, where guests can enjoy company outdoors or in the baronial Red room, here a warming fire creates a cosy atmosphere if the weather is cool.
