There’s a fully equipped kitchen, guest laundry and a dry cleaning service available. There’s a morning paper and when you arrive a complimentary plunger coffee for you. We provide continental breakfasts (delivered to your room the night before) - gluten free options or a cooked breakfast available.

Set on 5 acres, Hadleigh is accessed down a rural lane, the tranquil setting belies its proximity to Hamilton city’s, renowned gardens and busy night life. The quaint settlement of Cambridge is close by. We were particularly drawn to the areas natural beauty, as was Peter Jackson when he chose to film his magical Hobbits here. However, it was the mighty Waikato river, woodland walks and verdant fields, home to New Zealand’s pre-eminent thoroughbred horse industry that drew us in. Following the devastating 2011 ‘quakes, we missed hosting and felt that this new ‘Hadleigh’ was really quite superb, a place we would be proud to share with our guests.

This private guesthouse, connected to the main home, has its own entrance and access to a shared in-ground pool. Located just 8 minutes from Cambridge and Hamilton Airport, with Hobbiton, Mystery Creek and Hamilton Gardens all within easy reach. Bike storage and e-bike charging are available in the owners’ garage. Please note: no laundry or cooking facilities, no guest pets, and the property is not suitable for small children due to the nearby river.
