Set on 5 acres, Hadleigh is accessed down a rural lane, the tranquil setting belies its proximity to Hamilton city’s, renowned gardens and busy night life. The quaint settlement of Cambridge is close by. We were particularly drawn to the areas natural beauty, as was Peter Jackson when he chose to film his magical Hobbits here. However, it was the mighty Waikato river, woodland walks and verdant fields, home to New Zealand’s pre-eminent thoroughbred horse industry that drew us in. Following the devastating 2011 ‘quakes, we missed hosting and felt that this new ‘Hadleigh’ was really quite superb, a place we would be proud to share with our guests.

Five minutes walk from central Hamilton and uniquely located in a quiet cul-de-sac, you’ll find a charming one bedroom West Wing accommodation with private lounge and gas log fire. Gorgeous French doors in the lounge and bedroom open out onto a glorious pool and garden area. The West Wing (with small kitchen) can accommodate 2 guests. There is an en-suite; 40" TV; BBQ; private entrance; free off-street parking, comfy Cape Cod chairs and free WIFI. Our unique location provides guests with easy access to excellent shopping, a vast array of restaurants and cafes, cinemas, supermarkets, museum, Waikato Stadium, Waikato Hospital and gorgeous river and lake walks and river bike trail.
