Our bespoke studio (built and decorated by Chris and Amanda) is a real little gem. You’ll love enjoying a cuppa in the morning while taking in the view across the gully the gully bank, which we’re restoring with native trees. The bird song makes for a peaceful start to the day. Champion Rest is centrally located, and is a stones throw away from Hamilton Airport, Mystery Creek Event Centre, Lake Karapiro, Hamilton Gardens, Avantidrome and Sanctuary Mountain Maungatautari. We’re just a short bike ride away from Te Awa River Ride path, which leads to all sorts of great places including the award-winning Hamilton Gardens, the town of Cambridge and Hamilton City. We provide breakfast - tea, coffee, herb tea, toast and spreads and muesli.

Underhill Valley is a perfect, peaceful, retreat for couples. Built into the hillside, this remarkable cave-style house has been beautifully handcrafted with rustic native timbers and ironwork. Huge timber doors open wide to overlook a picturesque pond and farmland beyond. You’ll enjoy the warmth and ambience of an old coal range, the soft glow of candlelight, a glass of wine in the outdoor bath, under the stars. Or just snuggle into the luxurious, specially shaped bed - with pure cotton linen, comfy pillows and thick, wool duvet. Treat yourself. Arbor Lodge offers well appointed self-contained accommodation. Peeks of Pirongia is a short 25-minute drive from the heart of Hamilton city. Set in farmland surroundings, with Kahikatea bush and mature shelterbelts nearby, you'll feel immersed in nature. Gentle views across fields reach all the way to the magnificent Mt Pirongia - often silhouetted by a glowing sunset at the end of the day. The interior of the safari tent is serene and stylish, with every detail considered. The space contains a comfortable super-king-size bed and sofa for lounging. A fully equipped kitchenette is positioned to the side of the spacious deck - right outside. The outdoor bathroom is conveniently located just a short 5-metre walk from the tent via a decked walkway. Peace and tranquillity permeate every corner here.
