The quaint settlement of Cambridge is close by. We were particularly drawn to the areas natural beauty, as was Peter Jackson when he chose to film his magical Hobbits here. However, it was the mighty Waikato river, woodland walks and verdant fields, home to New Zealand’s pre-eminent thoroughbred horse industry that drew us in. Following the devastating 2011 ‘quakes, we missed hosting and felt that this new ‘Hadleigh’ was really quite superb, a place we would be proud to share with our guests.

The cottages (Willow and Cherry) are self contained and 200m off the road on a private drive on.Lexington Park has large and interesting gardens and a tennis court for guest use.The Cambridge to Karapiro Cycle and Walkway passes the drive. We are close to the Maungatautari Reserve, the National Fieldays site at Mystery Creek and Hamilton for the Airport. We are 5 mins from Cambridge golf club and 20 mins from Tieke and Te Awamutu.
