Karapiro Willows has the privacy of a hotel with the charm of a country dwelling. From Karapiro Willows you can reach either the West coast with the wild black sand beach of Raglan and nearby Waitomo Caves or the East coast golden sand beach of Mt Maunganui in around 60 minutes drive. Bird Song Retreat is a modern 3 bedroom home which is located in the foothills of The Tararuas and is surrounded by native bush which is abundant with native birds. Located a short 15 minute drive from Levin or a little over an hour from Wellington, this is the perfect place to escape the hustle and bustle of every day life and relax in the tranquil setting. There is lots to see and do with the Makahika stream and Ohau River a mere 5 minute walk away, and for the more adventurous guests, there are a number of local walks nearby such as the 2 hour Trig Track, the 7 hour Mangahao Dam and the Tararua Northern Crossing.

Essene Country Lodge offers a satisfying escape to the countryside, complete with horses, cows, pukekoes, a stream to walk to feed eels - see folder and two resident chooks Mrs Confetti and Pickles. The spacious 2 bedroom apartment is carefully positioned on 1.6 hectres of heritage land fully surrounded in mature trees.
