QUALMARK DIGITAL CAPABILITY PROGRAMME WORKSHOP
Digital Capability has been established by MBIE to provide additional support to operators, as part of the tourism recovery package, managed through Qualmark and Tourism New Zealand.
This programme has a practical focus, with content designed to help you understand more about your digital ecosystem with the aim of lifting the level of digital capability for the tourism industry.
Qualmark will be hosting three online workshops during May focusing on specific development areas to improve knowledge and practical capabilities, and implement using digital tools in the key areas of strategic digital marketing, Search Engine Optimisation (SEO), organic growth, website performance and online booking system audits, online advertising and paid media, social media content and creation, conversion optimisation, lead generation and measuring success.

NAILING THAT MEDIA INTERVIEW
This workshop has been developed for media spokespeople either new to the role, or existing people who want to brush up on their media skills for television, radio, online or print. Participants learn how to appear and feel confident during interviews, preparing for media interviews, how to ensure their points get reported and how to avoid being misquoted or taken out of context.
This is a practical workshop tailored for tourism operators which will also give you a chance to test your skills with our media experts.
KIRIKIRIROA - HAMILTON AMBASSADOR PROGRAMME
Kirikiriroa – Hamilton Ambassador Programme is a course designed for people engaging with both New Zealand as well as international visitors who come to Hamilton and the wider Waikato. The purpose is to help create storytellers and ambassadors who can connect with people and authentically engage with what all New Zealanders understand as ‘manaakitanga’ and ‘kaitiakitanga’.
