2019 Official Regional Visitor Guide

Each year Hamilton & Waikato Tourism (HWT) produces the only Official Regional Visitor Guide for the region. This DLE sized guide has an annual print run of 100,000 copies and is our key piece of consumer collateral which we use to promote the many activities, attractions, establishments, events and landmarks across the region.

Below are some of the ways in which 100,000 copies of the guide are distributed:

  • In all i-SITEs across New Zealand
  • Visitor Point Distribution network into Auckland, Rotorua and locally in Hamilton and Waikato, plus seasonally through Coromandel, Bay of Plenty and Hawkes Bay

  • Tourism New Zealand offshore offices

  • National and international HWT sales calls and tradeshows

Free Priority Listing on HWT’s website - all advertisers (excluding F&B) in the 2019 Regional Visitor Guide will receive a free upgrade to a priority listing for a year on hamiltonwaikato.com, valued at $300.

  • All rates quoted are exclusive of GST
  • Advertisers will be invoiced in November for payment by 20 December 2018.
  • Advertising orders cancelled after the booking deadline will be charged their full ad rate.
  • Hamilton & Waikato Tourism reserve the right to decline any advertisement or advertiser.
  • It is the advertiser’s responsibility to ensure they thoroughly proof their ad before giving approval.
  • After giving approval, further altering to the ad may incur additional charges to the advertiser.
  • Hamilton & Waikato Tourism is not responsible for the accuracy of any information provided by the advertisers for their ad.
  • Full page ad material not supplied as specified and/or requiring additional work will incur extra charges for advertiser.
  • Confirming space in the 2019 Hamilton & Waikato Visitor Guide is also confirmation that you are compliant with the new Health and Safety at Work Act which came into force on 4 April 2016.
  • If you are an adventure activity operator, confirming ad space is also confirmation that you have been compliant with WorkSafe New Zealand’s Adventure Safety audit process.
