What is your current role?

Key Accounts Manager for New Zealand National Fieldays Society and Sales Manager for Mystery Creek Events Centre.

What do you enjoy about working at Fieldays and Mystery Creek?

This position has so much variety and scope as you would expect with an event platform of 114 hectares and several venues that can be adapted to meet all manner of requirements. From 15 people to 50,000 - Mystery Creek has you covered.
Great to be part of an awesome team delivering events for clients and being part of an iconic event, New Zealand National Fieldays.

What was your first job?

My first grown-up job that paid proper money was when I joined New Zealand Customs Service.

What did you want to be when you grew up?

That question presupposes I have grown up, would like to think I have more growing to do...
For me, growing up was about opportunities and exploring them and learning along the way, and I sure have learnt a lot.

What is an achievement or special credential you're really proud of?

I was awarded a Rotary International Paul Harris Fellowship for my contributions to work, the community and Rotary.

What do you do in your spare time?

Travel has been a feature of our lives; sad it has curtailed right now but we will be back to going somewhere as soon as we can.

What are you most grateful for in your life?

Sharing my life with someone special and being on a continual journey.

Who inspires you and why?

Barack Obama, a man of humanity and humility. One of the best books I have read is "To Obama, With Love, Joy, Anger and hope." Inspirational.

Have you got a favourite aphorism / motto?

I want to be thoroughly used up when I die for the harder I work, the more I live.

What is your favourite spot in the Waikato?

Cambridge, delighted to live in a place that is so full of charm and character.
