What do you enjoy about working at Jet Park Hotel Hamilton?
Relocating from Auckland, it's been one of the best moves I have done and I am absolutely loving the challenge of rebranding and relaunching Jet Park Hotel Hamilton to the product it is today.
What was your first job?
Night cleaner while in high school for the largest 5 Star Hotel in NZ at the time, The Carlton Hotel.
What did you want to be when you grew up?
Like every other kid, an All Black.
What is an achievement or special credential you're really proud of?
My children, buying my first motorbike and being presented with a signed jersey by the All Blacks team in 2019 for service over the years at a previous hotel.
What do you do in your spare time?
Spend time with the kids and my family.
What are you most grateful for in your life?
Family.
Who inspires you and why?
I have had many mentors and inspirations in my life, currently Gary Vaynerchuk is someone who inspires me for different reasons.
Have you got a favourite aphorism / motto?
"Prevention is the best protection" (An original quote from yours truly) otherwise "Love your family, work super hard, live your passion." Gary Vaynerchuk.
What is your favourite spot in the Waikato?
Hamilton Airport. Peace and calm of the country with an airport. Just enough to keep your mind engaged.
