Zenders welcomes you to make their place, your place, for any occasion. Modelled on the original blueprints of a traditional Dutch farmhouse, Zenders offers a semi-rural setting on the outskirts of Hamilton.
The building has multiple spaces suitable for the smallest groups to larger gatherings. With ample free parking on site, its location close to expressways, the airport and the city centre ensure easy access for guests from all locations.
On arrival guests are welcomed over the bridge, entering through the striking barn doors into the sunny foyer with beautiful polished concrete floors. Immediately in view is the generous outdoor courtyard and large willow lawn, perfect for summer-time socialising or outdoor teambuilding activities.
To one side of the foyer is the Zaal – the premium event space featuring a dramatic grand ceiling and mezzanine. Originally this was the barn where animals were wintered and it holds this authentic charm while offering a bespoke atmosphere. To the other side of the foyer is the Orange Room – a more intimate space looking into the countryside; the namesake a tribute to the Dutch culture rather than any bright bursts of colour. The adjoining boardroom and bridal room offer smaller spaces for those private occasions, and can be adapted to suit hirer’s needs. There is also a café on-site which showcases elements of Dutch culture while offering a traditional café experience.
Modern facilities are provided on-site: the in-built microphone and music system; air conditioning; and complimentary Wi-Fi. Catering is also provided by the in-house team of chefs, and facilitated by a team of event and hospitality experts.
