Leisure Time Tours welcome Glenys Taylor into the role of Coach Operations Manager.

Glenys has relocated from Queenstown to be based at the Leisure Time Tours Hamilton office and coach depot where she will play a crucial role in co-ordinating drivers and coaches throughout New Zealand.

Leisure Time Tours has been operating for over 30 years, offering nationwide coach charter services to domestic and international clients. The company owns a fleet of motor coaches which are also utilised in tailor-made travel experiences by its Inbound Tour Operator brands; Travel Time South Pacific, and AgriTravel International. The company also works in the business events industry with its Destination Management brand; Vokali, creating and delivering tailormade event programmes for international clients.

Scott Mehrtens, Manager Director, said, “We are very excited to have Glenys join our company in this crucial role. Her tourism experience and wide range of valuable logistical skills will make her a great asset to our business.”

Glenys has more than 30 years’ experience in tourism and logistics in New Zealand. She started in the hospitality field at an early age helping run the family business. This was followed by 25 years of hotel experience in both front and back of house roles including Reservations Manager for a large international chain where her background and logistical skillset was required to ensure the hotel was running to capacity.

Glenys said, “It’s exciting to be onboard with Leisure Time Tours, where we aim to deliver quality touring and coach experiences”.
