Feb 18: Timber Trail Lodge Update

The Timber Trail Lodge are enjoying their first summer season after opening the lodge’s first wing of ten bedrooms in April 2017, followed by completion of the second wing with ensuite rooms at the end of October. Watch a walk-through of the new rooms on this video.

The lodge can now accommodate 50 guests across a mix of double/twin and triple rooms. Some bedrooms have ensuites while standard bedrooms have shared bathroom facilities.

Situated at the mid-point of New Zealand’s best two-day cycle trail, the 84km Timber Trail, the off-grid lodge offers full service accommodation to those visiting the historic Pureora Forest, whether it’s for cycling, relaxing, or staying as part of a group.

The lodge is a unique venue for multi-day, off-grid, group gatherings from business conferences to training sessions or incentive trips, with discounts available for group bookings.

The team at the lodge are currently planning some exciting off-season events including: yoga retreats for mountain bikers and trail runners, outdoor photography workshops, and residential culinary retreats. Details will be circulated once they are finalised, but if you would like to find out more contact the lodge for more information or to go on the email database.
