The All Blacks v Tonga test in Hamilton wasn’t just a send-off for the two squads ahead of Rugby World Cup 2019 – it also kicked off an exceptionally busy September for the H3 team.

Responsible for managing Hamilton’s three premier event venues Claudelands, FMG Stadium Waikato and Seddon Park, H3 hosted a full series of business events throughout September including conferences for Water NZ, WasteMINZ, Practice Managers & Administrators, Dairy NZ and National Emergency Nurses, in addition to a busy schedule of public events like All Blacks v Tonga, Ultimate Queen Celebration, Glenn Miller Orchestra, Stan Walker and Dr Libby.

The busy period was an opportunity for the H3 team to showcase their skills and experience in managing a high volume of events and a diverse range of event types, as well as highlight the ability of their venues in hosting multiple events at the same time or in close succession.

November also looks set to be action-packed for H3 with public events like Swan Lake ballet, legendary rockers America and Te Mana Kuratahi national primary school kapa haka competition taking place throughout the month, as well as TRAFINZ Conference, Recreation Aotearoa Conference and Health Informatics NZ Conference which will be held at Claudelands for the very first time and use every square inch of the venue.
