The 2016 Showcase attracted 40 exhibitors from throughout the wider Waikato, and 114 buyers from throughout the North Island.
Amanda Graham, Manager, Hamilton & Waikato Business Events, says "The Showcase will give buyers the opportunity to become acquainted with the region's powerful possibilities. The event is a one-stop shop for time-poor organisers, allowing them to catch-up with suppliers to hear what's new, meet with new suppliers, learn about new products and enjoy some locally available entertainment. Last year, exhibitors included big venues, such as Claudelands Conference & Exhibition Centre and conference hotels, to venues catering for small numbers, accommodation, transport and audio-visual suppliers, theming companies and entertainment.
Graham says "New this year is a hosted buyer programme. Limited spaces are available for qualified buyers – the hosted buyer programme includes travel, accommodation, showcase attendance and bespoke famil. The Business Events Waikato Showcase will be held at Claudelands Conference & Exhibition Centre on Thursday, 10 August 2017 from 3-6pm. The show will be open to Tourism and Event Management Students between 2-3pm. Networking drinks will be served from 5-6pm.
Attendance is free for buyers.
