Up Above the River B&B

Wake up to the Bell Birds and the Tuis. Our villa is dramatically situated in 17 acres of hilly paddocks and bush with stunning views over, and access to, the Mangare Stream that leads into Lake Arapuni.

We have an attractively decorated bedroom with a comfy king size bed and shared bathroom facilities. The house is a villa with a pretty veranda. You will have the option to enjoy an after-breakfast or evening stroll including exploring our river access with pontoon and picnic table.

We can offer launching off our property for kayaks (guests to supply at own risk). We have plenty of boat parking space for motor boats for trout fishing, water skiing and biscuiting with four lake landings (Jones, Bulmer, Arapuni and Arohena) all a 10-20 minute drive away. Sanctuary Mountain, Te Waihou Walkway, Waikato River Trails, Lake District Adventures, Waitomo Caves, Taupo, Rotorua all easily accessible.
