De Preaux Lodge is nestled in the lovely Waikato countryside, surrounded by beautiful scenery and views. Luxury accomodation that can cater for 12 guests per night with a gorgeous kiwi breakfast provided prepared with seasonal produce from the farm.

You will get a warm kiwi welcome as you arrive at the Lodge, situated 5 minutes from the township of Matamata and 15 minutes from the famous Hobbiton.

From here you are in close proximity to many tourist destinations, Wairere Falls, Kauri Tree walk, Te Aroha Mineral hot pools and spas, Waitomo Caves if you enjoy black water rafting, Mt Mangonui to visit our beautiful beaches, Rotorua a popular destination for all our visitors.

For a small charge you can enjoy mingling with the farm animals and learning how the farm operates as the owner takes you on a farm tour.

If it is relaxation you want you will find it at the Lodge. Bask in the sun on the patio or take a walk down to the stream, or just enjoy the comfortable luxury of your room
